Creating an Addon Domain

An addon domain allows you to host more than one website on a single account. A directory is created in your account and pages uploaded to it will appear on the addon website. For this example “kipling.me.uk” is the domain used for the account and “tutorial.com” is the addon domain. So a directory would be created called “kipling.me.uk/tutorial” which you can access via “tutorial.com”

1. Ensure the nameservers on your domain name are configured to Valcato Hosting.

2. Login to the Website Control Panel and click “Addon Domains”.

1. Enter your domain name, the directory and a password and click “Add Domain!”

1. You will see a confirmation screen, you are finished! You can now upload files to this addon domain via your regular FTP account or use the details you entered for access to this directory only.
