Included With Every Server
Initial cPanel® Configuration
If you order a server with cPanel® from us, it'll come already configured and ready to run web sites. This includes configuring all services with sane defaults, and installing any requested software, such as security monitoring tools and the Django web framework.
Free Troubleshooting and Admin Advice
If something isn't working quite right, if you're unsure how something works, or if you need advice on how best to set something up, we're there for you. Our support team is ready and waiting to assist you with whatever you need to do, so you don't have to be an expert just to have your own server.
Semi-Managed Only
All of our servers come semi-managed as standard. This includes both VPS and dedicated servers, with any OS, with or without cPanel®.
Vanilla OS Installation
Unlike a fully-managed server, you don't need to have cPanel® installed on a semi-managed server. That means that you can lower your costs, and also choose from a wider selection of operating system options which aren't supported by cPanel®.
Full Root Access
Our semi-managed servers come with full root-level access, allowing you to control every aspect of your server yourself without having to ask us to perform some operations on your behalf.
You Sit in the Pilot's Seat
With a semi-managed server, software updates and maintenance are entirely under your control. This means you have greater flexibility in deciding when work is carried out and which updates should be prioritised and which ones can wait a while.
Fully-Managed Only
Only dedicated servers running CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux with cPanel® are available fully-managed.
Outage Monitoring
All fully-managed servers are monitored by the same external monitoring service we use to keep an eye on the servers which run our shared hosting services. If an outage should be detected, we will respond immediately to get your server back online.
Software Updates
We take care of keeping the operating system and services (such as Apache and MySQL) on fully-managed servers up-to-date, and we also make sure that security updates are installed in a timely manner.

With a fully-managed server we take care of absolutely all of the extra tasks associated with running a server. This means that even though you have a whole server to yourself, using it is no more complicated than using a Standard Hosting account.
