Software Updates (August 2009)

We will be performing our regular software updates on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 1300 UTC. This will require both servers to be rebooted, during which time customer web sites will be unavailable for approximately ten minutes.

This work is commencing now. Both servers will be rebooted shortly.

Both servers have now been rebooted, and we are proceeding to install the rest of the updates.

All updates have now been installed. This includes Django 1.1, and several new pieces of software including a number of Python modules, and the clients of the Git and Mercurial revision control systems.
