Ordinarily we do not disclose any information about our customers to anyone. We may, however, share your personal information with law enforcement or other government agencies in accordance with legal requirements, as part of ongoing investigations, or when there are reasonable grounds to suspect that illegal activity has taken place.
In order to cut down on credit card fraud, new orders are checked against a third-party risk assessment service. This involves passing certain transaction information (including billing address, IP address and telephone number) to the third-party service. By submitting an order, you agree to your information being used in this way.

Your data privacy is important to us, however we reserve to the right to view any data stored on our servers in the event of a suspected breach of our Terms and Conditions of Use.

Cookies are used by your browser to store session data, we use them to keep you logged into various areas of our website such as the Control Panels and Community Forums.

In order for Valcato Hosting to provide our service we collect and store information about you via our order form. This information is stored by us in a secure online database. This information is communicated to and from our server by means of a 256bit secure connection (SSL) provided by GeoTrust which ensures that your personal details cannot be obtained by anyone but the intended recipient.
We do not store any credit card details on our servers, neither do we see customer’s full number - all credit and debit card transactions are processed by WorldPay, part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Visa and MasterCard approved provider who use bank-approved software and the highest level of encryption to ensure that your credit card details are kept secure at all times.
For training and security purposes, we monitor and record all contact made between you and our team. This includes but is not limited to the saving of live chat logs, voicemail messages and ticket responses. These logs will be retained for a period of no less than two (2) years.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act you are able to view and update the information we store about you via your Valcato Account. You are obliged to keep this information up-to-date as well as any WHOIS (domain name) records.
In addition to this, once you have cancelled your account all information is removed from our servers. It may, however, remain in the possession of Valcato Hosting in the form of data backups or bank records.
