Fast, convenient setup and upgrades
Servers are set up on average within twelve hours of orders being received, and there is no setup fee. Upgrades and downgrades are also fast and convenient, in most cases taking only slightly longer than a reboot for the changes to be applied once your order is processed.
KVM is the latest virtual server technology that allows the host to use the hardware to its full potential and therefore providing better value for our customers. A KVM VPS is a very flexible virtual server that you will have full control over, running on a shared hardware node. These virtual private servers can be very quickly rebuilt, making them ideal for development and testing.
Our nodes are made of high quality components using dual quad-core processors and 32GB of memory per node with high speed RAID 10 storage systems.
All of our VPSs come semi-managed. This means that you take care of the day-to-day stuff, like setting up your web sites and keeping your software up-to-date, but we’re here to help if anything goes wrong or if you can’t quite get something working. For more information about what semi-management means and how it compares to full management, check out our management overview page.
Ready for the future with IPv6
While our virtual private servers all come with a free dedicated IPv4 address as standard, you also have the option of upgrading to a dedicated IPv6 address for no extra charge. With the IPv4 address space due to be exhausted in a matter of months, you can have the piece of mind that comes from knowing that your server is ready for the future, with IPv6 configured and ready to go.
