Accessing WHM or cPanel may produce an error message stating that there is a problem with the security certificate, that it is self-issued. This is not a problem as your server is a trusted source and you can follow instructions to add an exception.

A self-signed certificate still encrypts the data between you and the server to the same level as a certificate from a certificate authority, however because it is signed by the server and not a trusted company (such as GeoTrust) modern browsers produce a security error

To bypass the error without adding an exception in your browser you can use the en-encrypted URLs:

WHM: http://yourserverIP:2086
cPanel: http://yourserverIP:2082

Alternatively you can buy an SSL certificate, please click here to see our range.
