- Click "Domains" above,
- Click "My Domains" ,
- Click the wrench icon next to your domain name,
- Click the "Contact Information" option in the left-hand menu and ensure your email address is up-to-date,
- Under the "Release Domain" option in the left-hand menu,
- Enter the IPS TAG of the gaining registrar (the company you are transferring the domain name to) and click "Release Domain". Their support department will be able to advise the appropriate IPS TAG to enter here.
- Click the "Auto Renew" option in the left-hand menu,
- Click the "Disable Auto Renew" button.
You can now initiate the transfer from the gaining registrar.
