Our telephone numbers have changed, they are now:
UK: 020 8123 5766
The British government telecoms watchdog, Ofcom, decided that there were issues with 0870 numbers which it wanted to address. As a result of the consultation it was announced that costs to consumers calling 0870 ‘non-geographic’ numbers should be brought in line with standard ‘geographic’ call rates. This has effectively put and end to a practice called revenue sharing which we used to cover the costs of our call management system and has knock-on impacts for our toll-free US number.
We have used this opportunity to change our telephone contact details, replacing them with standard geographic numbers. These numbers are now included in many land-line and mobile calling packages so should be free to the vast majority of customers, and pricing is much more transparent for others.
As you may have noticed a Skype ID has also been made available, this way we can continue to provide toll-free support, but it is no-longer limited to our customers in the USA. Anyone, anywhere in the world can call us for free, all that is needed is a Skype account (also free) and a broadband internet connection.
